In digital angiography, the arterial supply to the heart is outlined by means of a radio-opaque contrast medium injected via a catheter, & visualized using digital X-ray equipment. Here, the heart is roughly outlined in orange; the right coronary artery appears as a black ribbon, & the obstruction as a pinched, narrowed section (top left). This particular lesion is complicated by the presence of a smaller artery (running to left) & (just below) a "bubble" (possibly a clot).
