Facial allergy. Rash on an 8 year old girl's face caused by an allergy to an eyepad she was wearing. Skin allergies often manifest as rashes, and are generally caused by direct contact with the allergen. Here, the adhesive used to hold the pad next to her face was the cause on the reaction. Rashes can be treated with soothing lotions such as calamine, or antihistamine drugs can be taken to reduce the allergic response.
