Caption: Prosthetic leg. Man fitting a new lower leg prosthesis. Correct fitting of a prosthesis is essential to help the amputee regain full mobility. Photographed in Sri Lanka, where the Motivation Charitable Trust is supporting the production of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) polypropylene limb. This limb is lighter than those previously available to amputees in Sri Lanka, and the improved design means that it is easier to fit, transport and store.
