Caption: False teeth manufacture. Technician grinding one of a number of moulds for a set of acrylic false teeth. These handcrafted moulds are being ground into a stainless steel disc. False teeth are fixed onto dental implants screwed into the jaw to replace teeth that have been knocked out or removed. They are also used to form dental bridges, where false teeth are attached to natural teeth on either side of a gap left by missing teeth. Teeth of various shapes, sizes and tones are manufactured to make sure they look as natural as possible in each individual's mouth. Photographed at Ivoclar in Liechtenstein.
