Caption: Three epileptics, each supported by two helpers, on a pilgrimage to the church of Molenbeeck-Saint Jacques in Luxembourg. The procession was an annual event in honour of St. Willibrord who was credited with delivering a whole town from an outbreak of dancing mania. The pilgrims apparently moved to music composed especially for the occasion. Engraving after a sketch by P. Brueghel (1528- 1569).
