Caption: Human skull. Coloured X-ray showing the side view of a normal human skull found at a Roman burial site in Gloucestershire, England. The skull is remarkably well preserved with the only noticeable abnormality being a missing top molar tooth. Roman Britain was established in the mid- 1st century BC and ended around the 5th century AD. Gloucester was established as a Roman city around 97 AD.
