Caption: Goosegrass leaf. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of the surface of a goosegrass, or common cleavers, (Galium aparine) leaf. Numerous curved prickles (trichomes) are seen on the leaf surface. These cling to animal fur and human clothing and are found on the leaves, stems, seeds and fruits of the plant.
