Caption: Honeysuckle berries. (4th of 4 images). Close- up of the ripe berries of the honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum). The berries have formed from female parts of the flower which have been pollinated. The male parts and the petals have been discarded. Honeysuckle, also known as woodbine, is a climbing plant common to woods and scrubland. The flowers bloom between June and October, and it is a popular garden plant due to their sweet smell. See photos B760/339-342 for the development of the flowers.
