Caption: Cell division. Image 3 of 4. Fluorescent light micrograph of a human (HeLa) cell dividing by mitosis, the asexual replication of a cell into two new cells. This is early telophase, the mitosis stage where the cell's genetic material has separated and the cleavage plane (centre) is forming. The genetic material comprises chromatids (dark blue), which were drawn apart by microtubule spindles (yellow/red, centre). The protein dynein (green) is involved in moving the chromatids.
