Caption: HST servicing mission. The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) seen toward the end of its servicing on Mission STS-61. In this scene, the replacement solar panels are being deployed. Astronaut Story Musgrave is seen in the payload bay lower right of centre. Five sessions of extravehicular activity (EVA), each with two astronauts, were performed to complete all of the servicing tasks. These included the replacement of one of the telescope's cameras and the fitting of a corrective optics package. Mission STS-61 flew on 2-13 December 1993.
