Caption: Lunokhod, an unmanned Soviet lunar roving vehicle. Two Lunokhod vehicles were landed on the Moon by the Luna-17 and Luna-21 spaceprobes in November 1970 and January 1973. They were driven around by radio commands from controllers on Earth and took photographs of the Moon's surface.
