Caption: Tektites. These silica-rich glass objects are believed to have formed as ejecta from a meteorite impact on silicate-rich rocks. Most tektites exhibit splash shapes up to five centimetres long, indicative of rapid cooling and solidification during flight. These tektites are from Southeast Asia.
