Caption: The Trifid Nebula in Sagittarius is a perfect example of both hydrogen emission and dust grain reflection. The radiation from nearby stars causes the hydrogen gas to glow a deep red colour while the blue visible light is reflected by dust. Taken with a Meade 16 LX200 telescope.
