Caption: Optical image of the globular star cluster M4 (NGC 6121) which is situated about 6000 light years from Earth in the constellation of Scorpius. M4 is one of the largest and nearest globular clusters. It is rather a loose cluster and this allows the observation of its members even in the central region.
