Caption: M25 open star cluster, optical image. Star cluster M25 (IC4725) is around 90 million years old and lies about 2000 light years away from Earth in the constellation of Sagittarius. It is around 20 lights years across. This image is a combination of six images obtained by the Burrell Schmidt telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona, USA, in June 1996.
