Caption: Warped spiral galaxy. Optical image of galaxy ESO 510-13. This is a spiral galaxy seen edge-on, and has an unusual 'warped' disc shape possibly due to gravitational interaction with another galaxy in the past. ESO 510-13 is 170 million light years from Earth in the constellation Hydra. This image was made using the 8.2-metre Very Large Telescope 'Antu' at the Cerro Paranal Observatory, Chile.
