Caption: Spiral galaxy. Optical image of the spiral galaxy ESO 269-57. This galaxy is seen face-on, and has a remarkable degree of symmetry and prominent outer arms creating a wheel-like appearance. ESO 269-57 is 155 million light years from Earth in the constellation Centaurus. This image was made with the Very Large Telescope 'Antu' at Cerro Paranal Observatory, Chile.
