Caption: First Soviet liquid-fuel rocket on display at an exhibition. The rocket is part of a timeline of the history of rocketry. The first successful Soviet liquid-fuel rocket launch took place on 17 August 1933. The rocket is 24.57 centimetres long. It had an engine thrust of 65 kilograms, and could reach an altitude of 4500 metres. This display is part of the All-Union Exhibition of Economic Achievements, which took place in Moscow, Russia, in June 1958.
