Caption: Astronaut training. Space shuttle astronaut Philippe Perrin practising for a spacewalk or EVA (Extravehicular Activity). He is training underwater to simulate the weightless (microgravity) conditions of orbit. This is preparation for mission STS-111, during which the shuttle Endeavour docked with the International Space Station. The astronauts carried out tasks including assembly of the Mobile Base System (part of the Canadarm2 robotic arm) and delivery of supplies. Photographed in January 2001 at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory, Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas, USA.
