Caption: Astronaut Sherwood C. Spring stands on the end of the space shuttle's remote manipulator system (RMS) & checks joints on the test model of an erectable space structure (ACCESS). The structure extends from the cargo bay of the space shuttle Atlantis. The photograph was taken with a Linhof camera on November 27, 1985, during shuttle flight 61-B. Scattered clouds and the waters of the Gulf of Mexico are in the background.
