Caption: Frog in space. One of the frogs used in an embryology experiment on the Spacelab-J flight. The experiment was entitled "Effects of Weightlessness in the Development of Amphibian Eggs Fertilised in Space", designed by NASA's Ames Research Center. Spacelab-J was a joint venture between NASA and the Japanese space agency NASDA, and consisted of 43 life and materials science experiments. The science module was carried in the cargo bay of Shuttle Endeavour on the STS-47 mission of 12-20 September 1992.
