Caption: Docking module. Kevin P. Chilton (right) and Yuriy I. Onufriyenko, commanders of the Space Shuttle Atlantis & Russian space station Mir, shake hands in the docking module connecting their two space- craft. The docking occurred as part of shuttle mission STS-76 which took place during 22-31 March 1996. During the mission, equipment and a new crew member, Shannon W. Lucid, were delivered to Mir. This was the third time that the Atlantis and Mir had docked.
