Caption: ISS construction. Astronauts Steven L Smith (left) and Rex J Walheim performing a space walk during the construction of the International Space Station (ISS). This was during Space Shuttle mission STS-110. Walheim and Smith spent just under six and a half hours on this space walk (extravehicular activity, EVA). In this time, they rewired the robotic arm on the ISS and released locking bolts on the railcar. Photographed on 14th April 2002.
