Caption: ISS supply vessel. Progress supply vehicle (not manned) approaching the ISS (International Space Station) on 27 May 2004. This spacecraft was launched from Kazakhstan, and brought 2.5 tons of food, water, fuel and supplies to the Expedition 9 crew on the ISS. The ISS has been manned since October 2000. The ISS orbits about 350 kilometres above Earth. Here, it is above Central Asia.
