Caption: Astronaut Fuglesang performing spacewalk. Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang participating in the second extravehicular activity (EVA, or spacewalk) of the STS-116 Space Shuttle Discovery mission to the International Space Station (ISS). During the EVA the astronauts continued construction of the ISS. Fuglesang is anchored to the foot restraint of the ISS's Canadarm2, a robotic arm for moving equipment around during assembly and maintenance. Earth's horizon is in the background. The 12-day mission launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA, on 10th December 2006. Photographed on 14th December 2006.
