Caption: Aerial photo of CERN site, Geneva, showing the positions of the existing SPS (Super-Proton- Synchrotron) accelerator & the giant LEP (Large Electron-Positron) collider which is under constr- uction & scheduled to start operating in 1987/88. Geneva airport is in the foreground. The Swiss- French border is the wandering, dotted line. The Jura Mountains in France are in the distance. The white outlined area just above "Site Meyrin" is the main CERN administrative & workshop site. The border runs through it. The small white circles in it are the small accelerators which feed particles to the SPS. "Site Prevessin" is the second CERN site & the main fixed target experimental area.
