Caption: Fruit of the cinnamon tree. Cinnamon occurs wild in Ceylon, south-western India and in parts of South and Central America. The fruit is a large berry containing one seed and has an enlarged calyx at its base. The calyx as well as the bark is used for flavouring cakes and sweets, in curry powder, incense and perfumes.
