Caption: Table grapes. View of mixed table grapes (Vitis sp. ) growing on a vine. The green grapes are Thompson Seedless, the red are Red Seedless, and the black grapes are Concord. Table grapes are produced for eating rather than wine-making, drying or preserving. Table grapes must be less acidic and have a lower sugar content than other grapes. Grapes are a good source of the minerals boron, magnesium, potassium, and copper. It is thought grapevines originated in South-Western Asia, and grapes have been cultivated for over 3,000 years.
