Caption: Rowan berries. Rowan, or mountain ash, (Sorbus aucuparia) is an adaptable tree which is found throughout Europe. It has also been introduced to temperate regions around the world as an ornamental tree. The berries can be used to make jams and liqueurs. The rowan tree may reach a height of up to 15 metres.
