Its caterpillar tracks allow it to cross a wide variety of difficult terrain. It has been designed by Hagen Schempf, who works at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. Mini Dora is being demonstrated here at the National Robotics Engineering Consortium, also in Pittsburgh.
