Caption: Robot flower. Cyberflora robot flower at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, USA. The Cyberflora are comprised of four species of robotic flowers. This flower, known as the Cobra Orchid, contains heat sensors that detect the presence of humans and reacts by moving its stem in a snake-like manner. Cyberflora was created by Cynthia Breazeal, Assistant Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at MIT.
