Caption: Industrial robot. Robot arm transferring sand cores used as moulds for car engine cylinder blocks from the machine which makes the moulds to a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt leads to a moulding machine which pours molten aluminium into the sand cores. The cylinders in the engine are the parts where fuel and air are mixed, compressed and ignited to provide power. Robots are ideal for performing repetitive tasks in the manufacturing processes.
