Numerous helicopters and planes, both military and commercial, are seen on the runways and docked in the hangars. The Paris Air Show is held every two years, alternating with the Farnborough Air Show in the UK. It is one of the world's most prestigious commercial air shows. In 2005 it was opened by the first public flight of the Airbus A380 "Superjumbo", which is scheduled to enter commercial service in late 2006.
