Caption: Beriev Be-103 seaplane assembly. Engineers working on assembling the Beriev Be-103 seaplane (also called the 'Snipe'). This aeroplane has a wingspan of 12.5 metres, a length of 10.7 metres, and can seat 5 passengers. The design process was begun in 2003 by the Russian aerospace company Beriev, and the airplane is being assembled by the KNAAPO company. Photographed on 24 April 2006 in the KNAAPO construction factory in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, in the Khabarovskyi region of Russia's Far East.
