Caption: Shipyard construction work. Construction workers below and around one of the propellers of an icebreaker ship being constructed in a shipyard. Icebreakers have reinforced hulls and are used to break through sea ice and open up passageways for other ships. They require powerful engines and propellers to break their way through the ice. This ship is the icebreaker Moskva. It is being built in the Baltiysky Zavod shipyard in St Petersburg, Russia. This was the first diesel- electrical icebreaker to be built here in the last 32 years. Previously, Russia's non-nuclear-powered ships were built abroad. Photographed in May 2007.
