Caption: MODEL RELEASED. Research vessel control room. This is the control centre of the research vessel Minibex, owned by the French company Comex. The crew can monitor underwater activity, including salvage and survey operations. The crewmember at left is using a controller to pilot a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that is connected to the Minibex by a cable. Photographed during excavation of the ancient Sud- Caveaux 1 wreck, off the Mediterranean coast of France.
