Caption: Research submarine. Top view of the Remora 2000, being used for archaeological research. This Remora 2000 is owned by the French company, Comex. Up to two researchers can sit within the clear acrylic bubble, which has walls 9.5 centimetres thick. The Remora 2000 uses five thrusters to move around and its on-board computer can automatically maintain a fixed depth or heading. It operates at depths up to 610 metres, for up to 10 hours. Photographed off the Mediterranean coast of France.
