Caption: Gas cylinder recycling. Recycling point for domestic gas cylinders at a municipal refuse dump. Most of the gas cylinders here held butane, a Low Petroleum Gas (LPG), as a pressurised liquid. The cylinders can be refilled and reused. Recycling also ensures that any residual gas does not leak out. Escaped LPGs such as butane create the risk of an explosion. They are also greenhouse gases which trap heat in the atmosphere. LPGs are burnt for domestic heating.

Release details: Model release not required. Property release not required.
