Caption: Reservoir. Draw-off tower (left) and overflow tower (right) at a reservoir. The draw-off tower releases water beyond the dam (not seen) for a variety of uses. The overflow tower prevents the reservoir from becoming too full by providing a drain for excess water if the level rises above it. Photographed at Bewl Water, East Sussex, England. This reservoir was completed in 1975 and holds 31 billion litres of water.
