Caption: Salt hotel construction. Partially built walls of the Salt Palace and Spa on the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, made entirely from salt bricks. The hotel has twelve rooms, surrounding a courtyard, with flushing toilets but no showers. The bricks radiate heat at night, having stored it during the hot scorching day. This is despite night-time temperatures dropping below 0 degrees Celsius, which is due to the high altitide of the flats.
