Caption: Traffic light sculpture. Public sculptural artwork entitled "Traffic Island Tree". It contains 75 working traffic signal heads, the lights of which change at random. Its form mimics the shape of two nearby plane trees. It was commissioned by the London Docklands Development Corporation from the artist Pierre Vivant in 1995. Photographed at Heron Quays roundabout, Isle of Dogs, London, UK.
