Caption: Alamillo Bridge, Seville, Spain. This bridge was completed in 1992 for the World Expo Fair that year. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava. It is a cable-stayed bridge that is supported by a total of 26 cables from the single upward arm. It is a 200-metre-long road bridge over Guadalquivir River to Cartuja Island. The upward arm (pylon) is 142 metres tall.
