Condom burst test. Technician testing the strength of a condom (centre left) by inflating it with compressed air until it bursts. The monitor (centre right) shows the pressure inside the condom. To avoid failure condoms must be able to hold at least 18 litres of air and resist a pressure of one kilogram/pascal. Photographed at the National Testing Laboratory, France.
