Minced meat. Meat being minced at a butcher's using a mincing machine. Both lamb and beef are often minced this way. Minced meat (also called ground meat) is used in products like burgers, meatballs and meat sauces. The fat content (white parts of the meat) can vary widely depending on the cuts of meat used. Lamb and beef are examples of red meat, and as such have a high content of unhealthy saturated fats.
