Caption: One of the first depictions of the wheel, on a bas-relief of a chariot. The bas-relief was one of the earliest known representations of the wheel. It was one of many sarcophagus carvings discovered in 1928 at the Royal Tombs of Ur in Ancient Mesopotamia (now Iraq). It is believed to date back to 4000 BC.
