The first ever powered flight was made by Orville Wright on 17 December 1903 at Kill Devil Hill, Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, USA. The flight lasted 12 seconds and covered a distance of 36. This replica will be flown at Kitty Hawk to mark the 100th anniversary of powered flight.
