Caption: Wright Flyer. This is a model E flying over Simms Station, Huffman Prairie, Ohio, USA in 1913. Simms Station was part of the Wright flying field and flight school. The model E was designed as a single-seater, exhibition aircraft. Orville Wright piloted a model E with an automatic stabiliser on 31st December 1913 to win the Collier Trophy of the Aero Club of America.
