Caption: Colemans shrimp (Periclimenes colemani) are 1-2 cm long and live exclusively with the venomous, or fire, urchin (Asthenosoma varium). They are often found as a male/female pair (the female is larger) on a bare patch created by removing the urchins tube feet and spines. They can move through the poisonous spines without being harmed.
