Caption: Bumblebee shrimp (Gnathophyllum americanum) feeding on a brittlestar (subclass Ophiuroidea). This shrimp often works in groups to feed on brittlestars, starfish and sea urchins. It typically makes its home on large elephant ear sponges (Lanthella basta), only venturing off it if there is no prey on the sponge. It grows to lengths of 1.5 centimetres. Photographed in Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia.
