Caption: Ricia sp, a Wheel Bug from Grenada, West Indies (1984). Belongs to a family of Assasin bugs, Reduviidae, which have very movable heads bearing a long curved protruding proboscis. This is used by the Wheel Bug to suck the juices of other insects, thus obtaining nourishment.
